Analysis and test for flame retardant and the finished fabric were introduced systematically. Analysis of commercial flame retardant is according to enterprise standard. Flame retardant on fabrics is analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. For launderable finished fabric, decomposition method was applied; for non launderable finished fabric, extracting method was applied. Standard test methods both at home and abroad for flame resistant fabric were introduced. Several simple and convenient methods and thermal analysis applied in research were introduced.
