Flame-Retardant and Anti-Dripping Effects of a Novel Char-Forming Flame Retardant for the Treatment of Poly(Ethylene Terephthalate)Fabrics

摘要

Poly(2-hydroxypropylene spirocyclic pentaerythritol bisphosphonate)(PPPBP)was used as an anti-dripping flame retardant for PETP fabrics.The flammability and thermal behaviour of PETP fabrics treated with PPPBP were studied using the vertical burning test and TGA.The results obtained showed that,as well as the enhancement of flame retardance,dripping resistance of the treated PETP fabrics was improved.
