Objective To explore the influence of continuous nursing care on self-care ability and quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Randomly selected in our hospital in 2013 may 2015 may 47 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes as the observation group, the implementation of extended care;and randomly selected during the same peri-od of 47 cases of type 2 diabetic patients as control group. The routine treatment and nursing, observation of the clinical ef-fect of the two groups, self-care ability and quality of life to improve the situation. Results Six months after discharge were observed group, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin were lower than those of the control group (P< 0.05); obser-vation group of self nursing ability and each factor score were higher than those of the control group (P< 0.05); observation group quality of life score higher than that of the control group (P< 0.05). Conclusion Continuous care significantly im-prove self-care ability of patients with type 2 diabetes, the blood sugar control has a significant role in promoting, improve the quality of life of patients.%目的：探讨延续护理对2型糖尿病患者自我护理能力和生活质量的影响。方法随机选取该院2013年5月—2015年5月47例2型糖尿病患者为观察组，实施延续护理；并随机选取同时期的47例2型糖尿病患者为对照组，采用常规治疗护理，观察两组临床效果、自我护理能力和生活质量的改善情况。结果出院6个月后，观察组空腹血糖、糖化血红蛋白均显著低于对照组（P<0.05）；观察组自我护理能力各因子评分均显著高于对照组（P<0.05）；观察组生活质量评分亦高于对照组（P<0.05）。结论延续护理明显改善2型糖尿病患者自我护理能力，对血糖控制有明显促进作用，提高患者生活质量。
