During the Warring States Period,there had been a leaping development in agriculture;and forestry,animal husbandry,sideline and fish farming had been developed simultaneously.The forestry production included felling the forest properly,as well as planting trees and growing economic trees.The animal husbandry mainly referred to large-scale farming of domestic animals of six sorts.The sideline of ordinary peasant families was chiefly textiles in the Warring States Period.And fishing and artificial fish-breeding were the main embodiment of fish farming at that time.By recalling related historical data,this article delivers a discourse on the general developing situation of the forestry,animal husbandry,sideline and fish farming in the Warring States Period.
