Some Further Considerations about the Theory of Elastic Stress Transfer from Partially Embedded Axially Loaded Fiber to Matrix

In this paper the elastic stress transfer from the fiber to the matrix is analysed for fiber-reinforcedcomposites when the fiber is loaded axially.The dependence of the elastic stress transfer on the as-pect ratio of the fiber,the volume fraction of the fiber,the fiber-to-matrix elastic modulus ratio andthe Poisson’s ratio of the fiber and the matrix has been shown in detail.
