After nearly 40 years of development, privateeducation in China has become an important growthpoint for the development of education and an importantforce for promoting education reform. Private educationinstitutions can be divided into two categories: privateschools engaged in academic education and privateeducation training institutions engaged in non-academiceducation. Private non-academic education institutionshave played an important role in expanding domesticdemand, adjusting the structure, increasing employmentand promoting social development, and thus haveflourished. For example, Yu Minhong founded newOriental school in 1993, and Yin Xiong founded gianteducation in 1994. In September 2006, new Orientaleducation group was listed in the United States. Sincethen, a number of private education enterprises, suchas Bowen net, China net education, Xuesi and Xuedaeducation, have been listed in the United States, whichhas pushed the private non-academic education in Chinato a new height.
