On June 6,2022,the U.S.Department of Energy (DOE) released a Notice of Intent (NOI) to fund the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s$8 billion program to develop regional clean hydrogen hubs (H2Hubs) across A-merica.The BIL is part of US president Joe Biden’s decarbonization goals of a 50-52%reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 2005 levels,as well as a 100%clean power sector by 2035 and net-zero greenhouse emissions from the whole economy by 2050.
