对湖南尤其是省会长沙会展设计发展现状及存在的问题进行了分析探讨，认为湖湘地域文化对湖南会展设计具有深远的影响，进而立足设计的层面，有针对性地提出了湖南会展设计的发展必须延续与传承湖湘地域文化，从本土文化元素之中吸取营养，再进行借鉴与建构，以引导湖南会展业的持续发展和有质量的增长，为将湖南打造成中国中部“会展之都”而拓展道路。%Through the analysis of developments and the existed problems of exhibition design in Changsha which is the capital city of Hunan Province, it is concluded that the regional culture of Huxiang has a great inlfuence on the design. From the perspective of design, the paper points out that the regional culture should be inherited and extended in development of Hunan exhibitions, suggesting that the local cultural elements should be learnt from and reconstruct, thus leads the exhibition industry of Hunan to sustainable development and volume growing and builds Hunan Province the Capital of Exhibitions in the middle area of China.
