@@ The Aux/IAA genes are rapidly and specifically induced by the plant hormone auxin and encode short-lived nuclear proteins that are capable of forming homo- and hetero-dimer. Molecular,biochemical, and genetic data suggest that they play a central role in auxin signaling and plant development.
