局部对比度增强的彩色图像灰度化参数化算法

     

摘要

现有图像灰度化技术对整幅图像作统一的灰度化映射,不能突出局部区域的图像对比度,而人们往往会将注意力关注到图像的感兴趣区域。基于用户简单交互的图像分割技术和全自动的显著性检测算法,本文提出了一种新的局部对比度增强的灰度化参数化算法,增强感兴趣区域的对比度,并弱化不感兴趣区域的对比度。实验结果表示本文方法能够有效地增强灰度化图像在显著性区域的对比度,改善了彩色图像灰度化的效果。%Previous image decolorization methods map the whole image to the grayscale image and do not emphasize the image contrast of local regions. In some applications, people may be interested in one region of the image. This paper presents an image parameterization and decolorizaition algorithm with local contrast enhancement. An interactive image segmentation technique and an automatic saliency exaction algorithm are used to determine the image saliency region. The algorithm enhances the contrast in the interesting region while reducing the contrast in the background. Experimental results show that the proposed method is effective to enhance the contrast of salient regions in the grayscale image.
