一种新型SIW传输线结构设计

         

摘要

The SIW structure has the advantages both traditional waveguide and micro-strip structure transmission lines, that is, low radiation, low insertion loss, high Q value, high power capacity, miniaturization and easy connection. The structure and propagation characteristics of the existing SIW are briefly described. Meanwhile, based on the propagation mode of the electromagnetic wave in the traditional waveguide, the relationship between the incidence angle and loss is discussed. By adding a magnetic cylinder on the inside of the metal through-hole on the existing SIW transmission line to affect the incidence angle of electromagnetic wave propagation, a preliminary empirical design formula is acquired. Then the principle analysis is done and ultimately a new SIW transmission line is provided. The practice shows that both the insertion loss and the return loss of the newly-designed structure are better than existing SIW in the same situation, and this structure can be used on X band.%SIW结构具有传统波导和微带型结构传输线的优点,即具有低辐射、低插损、较高Q值、高功率容量、小型化和易于连接等优点.简要介绍现有SIW结构和传播特性,根据电磁波在传统波导中的传播方式,探讨入射角与损耗之间的关系.通过在现有SIW传输线金属通孔内侧加入磁性圆柱,影响电磁波传播入射角,得出初步的经验设计公式,并进行了原理剖析,最终提供了一种新型SIW传输线.实践表明,在同等情况下,所提出的新型设计结构的插入损耗和回波损耗均优于现有SIW,可用于X波段.
