The coal II1 in the Huxiang coalfield is the main developed coal seam and can be subdivided into II12 and II11. Through coal reservoir geological features and CBM reservoiring geological condition analysis can be seen: ① Coal seam metamorphism degree is high and coal quality excellent, thus in favor of CBM generation.②Coal seam methane content is large, permeability good, overburden rather compact, and weaker hydrodynamic condition have provided favorable terms for CBM enrichment, migration seepage and well stimulation put into effect.③Estimated total CBM resources in Huxiang coalfield is 468.84×108 m3, thus a large-scale CBM-field with certain exploitation prospect.%胡襄煤田二1煤层为主要可采煤层,分为二12、二11两层.通过对煤储层地质特征及煤层气成藏地质条件分析,得出:①煤层变质程度较高且煤质良好,有利于煤层气的生成;②煤层含气量较大,渗透性好,盖层比较致密,水动力条件比较弱,为煤层气富集、运移渗流和实施增产措施提供了有利条件;③通过计算,胡襄煤田煤层气资源总量为468.84×108 m3,属大型煤层气田,具一定的煤层气开发前景.
