Objective To investigate the incidence of Metabolic Syndrome (MS) and its related diseases of staffs in luzhou medical college,and provide scientific information for the subsequent study and nutritional education. Methods The staffs who attended the annual physical examination in the affiliated hospital of Luzhou medical college from April 8,2009 to May 18,2009, were elected. Their essential information,indices of anthroposomatology and biochemical indicators were collected. Results (1)1 592 teachers participated in the physical examination, 1 576 of which obtained integrated data,and the effective percentage was 98. 99%. (2) The detectable rate of MS was 6. 8% ,males 10. 6% and females 3.5% . The morbidity of MS in man aged 30 - 59 was significatly higher than that in women. (3)The detectable rates of obesity,hypertension,diabetes mellitus,dyslipidemia,hyperuricemia and fatty liver in the objects were 29. 1% , 14. 5% ,7. 7% ,34. 3% , 15. 4 % and 10. 9% .respectively. (4)The prevalence rate of these diseases increased with age,and the number of males with these diseases were far more than that of females. Conclusion The morbidity of MS and its related diseases are higher in men than that in women,and the group with the highest prevalence was 50 - 69 years old group. So we should pay more attention to these people s health.%目的 通过调查泸州医学院教职工代谢综合征(metabolic syndrome,MS)及其相关疾病的患病情况,了解本院教职工健康状况,为该人群的健康教育提供基础资料.方法 选择2009年4月8日至2009年5月18日于泸州医学院附属医院参加健康体检的教职工作为研究对象,收集体检数据,包括一般情况、人体学指标及生物化学指标.结果 (1)本次健康体检有1 592例,实际得到有效体检数据1 576例,有效率为98.99%.(2)该校教职工MS的检出率为6.8%,其中男为10.6%,女为3.5%,且男性患病率高于女性(χ2=31.303,P<0.05).30～<60岁MS男性患病率高于女性,差异有统计学意义.(3)本组人群MS相关疾病的检出率:肥胖为29.1%,高血压为14.5%,糖尿病为7.7%,血脂异常为34.3%,高尿酸血症为15.4%,脂肪肝为10.9%.(4)MS相关疾病男性患病率均高于女性,且有随年龄增加而增大的趋势.结论 男性教职工MS及相关疾病患病率均高于女性,高发年龄为50～<70岁,应重点关注该年龄段人群的健康问题.
