长嘉汇购物公园设计上结合重庆开埠文化时期的建筑特色，采用“重庆老街老建筑提取的元素，用现代的材料和手法营造”的思路，从建筑风格上再现和还原了传统的风俗风貌；平面上遵循传统街巷尺度，以南滨路的入口牌坊作为老街的起点，拾级而上延续了重庆传统建筑布局中院坝的设计，提供灵活多变的商业休闲平台，亦形成富于趣味的街道天际线。多元化、近人尺度的商铺形象和集中式商场部分相得益彰，构成一条极具重庆风情特色的步行商业街区。%The design of Landmark Riverside Park adopts the architectural features in the port-opening period of Chongqing and, with the idea of“apply-ing elements of traditional old buildings and old streets, establishing with modern materials and techniques, restores and reshapes the traditional architec-tural visage of old Chongqing streets. Following the planar scale and structural layout of the traditional Chongqing courtyard, the shopping Park is located beside the memorial arch on Nanbin Road, providing a platform for numerous business and entertainment activities. The diverse stores concentrating within the shopping Park makes it quite convenient for customers to satisfy their demands. The outline of the shopping Park together with the streets brighten the area as one of the commercial pedestrian street of most"Chongqing-style”.
