Xia Jie, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women''s Federation (ACWF), met Voicila Mihaela Gabriela, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade of Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Romania, in Beijing on April 24, 2019. Xia and Voicila spoke of the China-Romania relationship and friendly exchanges between women''s organizations of the two countries. They both expressed the willingness to make efforts to promote women''s cooperation, enhance women''s economic empowerment, improve women''s ability to achieve development, and create a better international environment, which will benefit women''s equal development with that of men.
