Quantum chemical studies on addition reactions of carbene with carbon monoxide and formaldehyde

MNDO method has been employed to study the reaction paths and to optimize the structures of the reactants, products and transition states of the addition reactions of carbene with carbon monoxide and formaldehyde available. Mechanisms have been obtained.
