In this study, both the rate and the content and release of nitrogen during decomposition for branches and leaves in rubber plantation were analyzed. The results showed that: l)the weight lost from the decomposition in the year of 47.37% and 94.44% for branches and leaves, respectively, which mainly occurred during the period from June to October and from January to June; 2)the nitrogen content varied yearly during the decomposition, which was increased for branches and decreased for leaves; 3)there were different changes of nitrogen release rate between branches and leaves, that it mainly appeared the net nitrogen release for leaves in one year and the most rate with 41.50% in May, while, the average nitrogen enrichment rate with 12.25% for branches was more than that for leaves with 2.75%; 4)the nitrogen release during litter decomposition in rubber plantation was gradually increasing with the age of the growth, in addition, the maximum emission of nitrogen appeared in May and enrichment in April.%对橡胶林枯枝、枯叶分解过程中分解速率、氮素含量及氮素释放的变化规律进行研究,结果表明:(1)橡胶林枯枝、枯叶分解后年失重率分别为47.37%、94.44%,枯叶失重最多在1~6月,枯枝失重较多集中在6~10月;(2)分解过程中枯枝、枯叶的氮素含量变化不同,枯叶全年整体呈下降趋势,枯枝则呈上升趋势; (3)分解过程中枯枝、枯叶的氮素释放率变化有差异,枯叶主要表现为氮素净释放,其中5月净释放率最大(41.50%),枯枝出现氮素富集的月份比枯叶多,其平均富集率(12.25%)远大于枯叶(2.75%);(4)随着林龄的增加,橡胶林枯落物分解中氮素释放量逐渐增多,一年之中5月氮素释放量最大,4月氮素富集最多.
