Two Novel Metal Coordination Polymers:Anticancer Activity in Human Angioneoplasm Cells

Two new coordination polymers,namely {[Cu(CPTD)(HCOO)](H2O)4}n (1,HCPTD=4'-(4-Carboxyphenyl)-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine) and {[Dy3(NTB)3(NMF)2(H2O)]n(NMF)3}n (2,H3NTB =4,4',4''-nitrilotribenzoic acid,NMF =N-methylformamide) have been successfully constructed under solvothermal conditions.The structures of the two complexes have beensuccessfully determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.In addition,in vitro antit umor activities of compounds 1 and 2 on three human angioneoplasm cells (MOLP-2,RPMI8226 and MM1S) were further determined and the results show that the two compounds showed promising activity.
