Objective: To explore the relationship between the expression of Twist in gastric carcinoma and CT manifestations. Methods: Forty patients with gastric carcinoma who had been resected surgically and confirmed pathologically (gastric carcinoma group) and 20 cases of normal mucosa (normal control group) were selected. The patients in gastric carcinoma group were subjected to gastric three-dimensional CT scanning. The expression of Twist was detected by using immunohistochemistry. Results: The positive expression rate of Twist was significantly higher in gastric carcinoma group than in normal control group (P＜0. 01). The positive expression rate of Twist had no correlation with stomach wall thickness and tumor size, but with lymph node metastasis and infiltrative extent (P＜0. 05). Conclusion: Twist positive expression is correlated to the CT manifestations. The expression of Twist can be used in assessing biological behaviors and degree of malignancy.%目的:探讨胃癌相关蛋白Twist表达与CT表现的关系.方法:选取经手术切除病理证实且进行胃三维CT检查后资料完整的胃癌患者40例(胃癌组)和体检胃正常者20例(正常组),采用免疫组化法检测Twist阳性表达率,并与CT检测结果比较.结果:胃癌组Twist的阳性表达率明显高于正常组(P<0.01),Twist阳性表达率与胃壁厚度,肿瘤范围无统计学意义,而与淋巴结转移和周围侵犯明显相关(P<0.05).结论:胃癌的CT表现与Twist的表达存在内在联系,CT表现可作为术前评估生物学行为与恶性程度的参考因素.
