Graft Copolymerization of Modified Oxidized Starch and Its ER Effect

         

摘要

To enhance the polarization of starch, the oxidized starch-BA-MAA-Gd copolymer was synthesized by radical graft copolymerization. The structure of the graft copolymer was determined by IR, scanning electron microscopy, state thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. The electrorheological properties of the graft copolymer were also investigated. The results show that shear stress increases with the increase of the graft copolymer loadings and the electric field intensity.
