Fabrication of Foamed Aluminum by New Vesicant-Mixed Rare Earths Hydride

摘要

The preparation and foaming mechanism of a new vesicant-mixed rare earths hydride were investigated. The closed cell aluminum by foaming method of molten aluminum was produced. The result obtained isas follows: compared with Till2, REH, a higher decomposition temperature is exhibited and the mechanical properties especially the compressive strength of foam aluminum are increased significantly.
