肾母细胞瘤的治疗和预后

@@ 本院自1959年至1983年以来,对肾母细胞瘤的治疗,不断改进治疗方案,使生存率逐步获得提高.现将治疗结果和治疗方案报告如下:rn资料和方法%From 1959 to 1983,104 cases of Wilms' tumor surgically treated,with combined postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, had been followed up for 2 to 25 years. According to NWTS-Ⅱ Staging system,13 cases were in Stage Ⅰ,49 in Stage Ⅱ,31 in Stage Ⅲ,9 in Stage Ⅳ and 2 in stage Ⅴ.The 2-year survival rate was thus increased from 29.7% of the first 10 years to 51.2% of the second 10 year and even 82.3% of the recent 5 years.The 5-and 10-year survival rate was 46.3% and 29.2% respectively. Factors which once seemed prognostically important, such as the tumor's size and the patient's age, have lost their significance with the development of more effective therapies.M ajor prognostic factors appear to be the histologic type, completeness of the resection of the tumor,metastases and bilateral involvement .
