Over the past 14 years,707 cases of burns:in children were admitted to our hospital,and soaking therapy with physiologic saline (hot solution of 0.9% common salt) was used in treating 422 of them.The most serious case had a BSA of 70% with third degree burns covering 35% of thebody.The initial soaking for the serious series began 10 days after the burns on an average (7-15 days),and it began on the 4th day for the non-serious cases.On the average,5 soakings were given with satisfying results.This therapy can promote drainage and cleaning of the wounds,alleviate suffering during the dressing exchange,control infections.It also benefits the healing of the 2nd degree burns and hastens the sloughing of the eschars of the 3rd degree burns as well as the auto-skingrafting thereafter.%@@ 近十四年来,我院收治707例烧伤小儿,其中422例创面处理使用了生理盐水浸泡疗法,在控制创面感染,促进二度创面愈合、三度创面脱痂与植皮方面,效果甚好.
