The authors reviewed 31 cases of intrathecal tumor treated ia 1982-1987.Among them,there were 25 cases of dermoid cyst and mucous cyst(80%).80% of which located in the thoraco-lumbar segments.An early diagnosis and a proper surgical treatment always encourage a good prognosis,while a delay may lead to death.14 patients with dermoid cyst,who were complicated by local r intracranial infection,were operated on in condition that the infection had not been controlled by antibiotics.In 10 of them,tempreature dropped down to the normal level within 4 days after operation.%本文报道小儿椎管内肿瘤31例,病理改变以胚胎残余组织为主,累及节段胸、腰椎管者占85%.并就临床及X线表现、手术方式及手术时机等进行了讨论.
