Objective To investigate the effect of nasal endoscopic resection and drainage for children' s orbital cellulitis.Methods Retrospectively analyze the clinical characteristics of five cases of children' s orbital cellulitis and evalute the effect of nasal endoscopic resection and drainage.CT results of five cases showed paranasal sinus inflammation,3 of which also showed paranassl sinus abscess.All 5 cases were treated by nasal endoscopic resection and drainage and systemic antibiotics.Results All cases turned better at 1 day postoperatively.All cases had no eyelid edema,no conjunctival edema,normal eye movement,normal intraobital pressure and no orbital area tenderness.CT results showed that high density in paranasal sinus disappeared.Conclusion Acute psranasal sinusitis is the most common cause for children's orbital cellulitis.Nasal endoscopic resection and drainage and systemic antibiotics are effective treatments for orbital cellulitis in children which shorten the period,improve the efficacy,reduce antibiotic amount and life-threatening complications,such as intracranial inflammation or sepsis.%目的 探讨鼻内窥镜下切开引流术治疗儿童眼眶蜂窝织炎的必要性和临床疗效.方法 回顾性分析5例儿童眼眶蜂窝织炎的临床特点及鼻内窥镜下切开引流术的治疗效果.5例CT均显示有副鼻窦的炎症,其中3例伴有副鼻窦脓肿,5例均给予行鼻内窥镜下脓肿切开引流术和全身应用抗生素治疗.结果 5例术后1d好转,5d内眼睑水肿消失,球结膜水肿消失,眼球运动良好,眶压恢复正常,无眶区压痛,CT检查副鼻窦内高密度影消失.结论 急性副鼻窦炎症是引起儿童眼眶蜂窝织炎的最常见的原因,全身使用抗生素治疗的同时行鼻内镜下副鼻窦的处理是非常必要的,缩短了病程,提高了疗效,减少了全身使用抗生素的用量,减少了颅内蔓延或败血症等危及生命的并发症的发生.
