Prof. ZHANG Ting-dong, male, was born in Wuqiao County, Hebei Province on Nov. 8, 1932, and in 1950 graduated from Harbin Medical University. And from 1960 to 1963 he studied in and then graduated from Western Doctors’ class for Learning Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). Prof. ZHANG has worked in the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University as resident doctor, visiting doctor (lecturer), deputy chief doctor (associate professor) and chief doctor (professor). He majored in hematological specialty of integrative Chinese and Western Medicine (ICWM), and has published 102 theses, worked as the chief-editor for 1 monograph, and participated in the edition of 6 research works.
