Clinical Observation on Effect of Shenqi Fuzheng(参芪扶正)Injection Combined with Chemotherapy in Treating Post-operational Patients with Colorectal Carcinoma

摘要

Chemotherapy (CT) is the most important therapeutic means in treating post-operational patients with colorectal carcinoma (CA), but its efficacy is often affected by the toxic side-effects of CT agents. TCM could reinforce body resistance and tonify the qi, alleviate the toxic side-effects of CT,thus strengthening the efficacy of organism against tumor. Shenqi Fuzheng (参芪扶正,SQFZ) injection manufactured by Limin Pharmaceutical Factory of Livzon Group was used in treating 69 patients with post-operational colorectal CA in the surgical department of our hospital from October, 1999 to September, 2000, and with the simple CT group of 63 cases as the control. The difference of reaction during the period of CT and the 2-year relapse rate after therapy was observed and is now reported as follows.
