慢性牙周炎与阿尔茨海默氏病关系的研究进展

摘要

慢性牙周炎(Chronic Periodontitis,CP)是一种口腔慢性感染性疾病,被认为是血液循环中炎症介质的来源之一,并有可能导致多种疾病的恶化.阿尔茨海默氏病(Alzheimer's Disease,AD)是一种神经退行性疾病,其特征是认知能力的逐渐下降和记忆丧失,严重时还会导致智力丧失或死亡.目前,已有越来越多的证据表明,炎症在AD的病理生理过程中起着关键作用,而且CP与AD之间的关系也已被相关研究证实.本文就近年来有关CP与AD相关性的研究现状作一综述.%Chronic periodontitis(CP)is an oral chronic infection/inflammatory condition,identified as a source of mediators of inflammation into the blood circulation,which may contribute to exacerbation of several diseases. Alzheimer's disease (AD)is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by progressive cognitive decline and memory loss,inevitably leading to complete loss of mental faculties and death. There is increasing evidence that inflammation plays a key role in the pathophysiology of AD.The relationship between CP and AD has been confirmed. In this paper, the research progress on the association between CP and AD is overviewed.
