清末民初的乡村自治

摘要

The new policies of the late Qing Dynasty led to the local autonomy movement with a focus on rural autonomy during the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republican China. In this movement, the self-government at Zhaicheng village and the village autonomy mo%清末民初，在晚清新政的推动下，中国兴起了以农村自治为核心的地方自治运动。翟城村治和山西村制是这一运动的典范。但无论是具有浓厚“绅治”特色的翟城村治，还是以“官治”为主导的山西村制，都不是要还政于民，而是要将乡村精英吸收到国家官僚机构之中，达到为国而治的目的。因此，所谓乡村自治，只不过是国家权力延伸到乡村社会的一种方式。
