Objective To study the therapeutic effects and safety of Qingganjiangya capsule in hypertension treatment. Methods Eighty hypertensive patients diagnosed with upper hyperactivity of liver Yang and liver/kidney Yin deficiency by traditional Chinese medicine were enrolled. The subjects had received no treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the past. Qingganjiangya capsule were applied in these patients at the dose of 3 capsules/time, 3 times a day orally for 4 weeks. Changes of blood pressure, heart rate, levels of fasting blood glucose and lipids, hepatic and renal function, and urinary micro protein were observed before and after treatment. The patients were also graded in terms of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome. Results Systolic and diastolic pressure were significantly different before and after treatment ( P < 0. 05 ), with an effective rate of 85%. Scores of headache, dizziness, flush, palpitation, and insomnia were significantly different before and after treatment ( P <0. 05 ) . Therapeutic effects concerning traditional Chinese medicine syndrome displayed an effective rate of 91% . Levels of fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, triglyceride, urinary micro protein, urea nitrogen, creatinine, and alanine a-mino transferase were not significantly different ( P > 0. 05 ) .No adverse reactions were noted. Conclusion It is both effective and safe to treat hypertensive patients diagnosed with upper hyperactivity of liver Yang and liver/kidney Yin deficiency with Qingganjiangya capsule.%目的 观察清肝降压胶囊治疗高血压的疗效、作用特点和安全性.方法 选择中医辨证属肝火亢盛、肝肾阴虚的高血压患者,过去未用药,或服用西药降压,血压仍未降至正常者80例.给予清肝降压胶囊,3次/d,3粒/次口服,疗程为4周.观察治疗前后患者血压、心率、空腹血糖、血脂、肝肾功能、尿微量蛋白的变化,采用中医症状分级量化对患者进行评分.结果 治疗前后患者收缩压、舒张压比较,差异均有统计学意义(P＜0.05);治疗后总有效率为85%.头痛、眩晕、面红、心悸和失眠症状评分比较,差异均有统计学意义(P＜0.05);中医证候改善有效率为91%.治疗前后空腹血糖、总胆固醇、三酰甘油、尿微量蛋白、尿素氮、血肌酐、丙氨酸氨基转移酶水平比较,差异均无统计学意义(P＞0.05).患者未出现不良反应.结论 清肝降压胶囊治疗肝火亢盛、肝肾阴虚症高血压患者疗效显著,临床应用安全.
