Objective To investigate the efficacy of Tumble Risk Factor Evaluation Sheet and take effective preventive measures to minimize tumbles and injuries caused by tumbles within the hospital. Methods 564 cases inpatients in urinary surgery undergoing evaluation were divided into two groups by whether using Tumble Risk Factor Evaluation Sheet or not,282 cases in observe group and 282 cases in control group,then observe tumble fall risk times and the number of falls in inpatients. Results The tumble risk times and tumble frequency in observe group are less than those in the control group,and rate of tumble decrease from 4.26% to 0.07% in inpatients. Conclusion Application of Tumble Risk Factor Evaluation Sheet has benefits of creating safe facilities and environment,and strengthening the education of patients and their families,not only reduce the occurrence of tumbles and injuries,but also decrease medical tangle.%目的探讨跌倒危险因子评估表应用于住院病人的有效程度，采取有效的防范措施，最大限度地减少医院内跌倒和因跌倒导致的伤害事件的发生.方法按照使用和未使用跌倒危险因子评估表，将2010年1月-8月和2011年1月-8月泌尿外科住院患者共564例患者进行分组，分别为对照组和观察组各282例，观察患者发生跌倒危险次数与发生跌倒次数.结果观察组发生跌倒的危险次数及发生跌倒的次数较对照组少，住院病人跌倒发生率由4.26%下降到0.07%.结论应用跌倒危险因子评估表，营造安全的设施及环境，加强病人及家属的教育，不仅有助于减少跌倒和损伤的发生，而且能减少医疗纠纷的发生.
