Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia in patients undergoing cardiac surgery

Objective Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia(HIT)is a complication characterized by thrombocytopenia,hemorrhage and/or thrombosis,which is caused by initial or repeated application of unfractionated heparin(UFH)and low-molecular-weight heparin(LMWH).This study aims to summarize the clinical features of HIT in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
