Zhengzhou University is one of the national key universities in China and is jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and Henan Provincial Government. It is located in Zhengzhou city, capital of Henan province in central China which is the cradle of Chinese culture. The university campus covers an area of 4.3 million m2. There are 40 thousand undergraduate and 3600 post-graduate students. Its ceramics department enrolls about 350 students.
