This paper reviews the main role, principle, performance, the domestic and foreign research and development status of the diaphragm of lithium ion battery. Lithium ion separator battery with the characteristics of safety, reliability, long cycle life, green environmental protection etc. which enables the great progress of the research of diaphragm for lithium ion batteries and lay the theoretical foundation for industrial application.%介绍了锂离子电池隔膜的主要作用、原理、性能、国内外研究与发展现状。锂离子隔膜电池具有安全性，可靠性，长循环寿命、绿色环保等特点，使得锂离子电池隔膜的研究取得了较大进展，为工业化应用奠定了理论基础。
