申抗988是以自交系W6-9为母本,以自交系V13-1为父本配制而成的西瓜一代杂种.植株生长势强,在南方多阴雨弱光照地区春播早熟覆盖栽培易坐果,果实膨大速度快,果实成熟期约33 d(天),单果质量5 kg左右.果实高圆球形,果皮浅绿色覆墨绿色中宽条带,果肉浓粉红色,肉质松脆,品质佳,耐贮运.一般每667 m2产量3 000 kg左右,适合全国各地春、夏、秋露地或大、中棚覆盖栽培.%'Shenkang 988' is a new watermelon Fi hybrid developed by crossing inbred line W6-9 as female parent and inbred line V13-1 as female parent.
