黄河首曲生态环境现状与社会经济发展对策研究

@@ Originating from the majestic Bayankera Mountains in Qinghai Province, the Yellow River winds its way from Mentang Town of Jiuzhi(gcig-sgril) County in mGo-log Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province to Muxihe Town of rMa-chu County in the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.Crossing eastward, the Yellow River turns abruptly to encircle rMa-chu County and wriggles back to the Henan Mongol Autonomous County of Qinghai Province, forming "the First Bend on the Yellow River" with a total length of 433 kilometers on its course within rMa-chu County on the edge of eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.This is called Shouqu, "the First Bend on the Yellow River" for short, and rMa-chu County is in its central part.rMa-chu (meaning "Yellow River" in Tibetan) is the only place named after this river in China.
