对拉压杆模型的基本理论以及它在桥墩盖梁系统中的应用进行了论述和说明,通过实际桥墩设计数据进行讨论研究,并利用有限元软件ABAQUS对盖梁模型进行应力应变分析验证。将拉压杆模型和传统平截面模型进行比较后得出,在类似桥墩盖梁这类深梁结构中,使用拉压杆模型设计所需的钢筋用量较少。%Bernoulli (plane remains plane) assumption is not applicable to deep structural members .As opposed to the complex nonlinear analysis ,strut‐and‐tie model is an alternative practical approach to deep members as permitted by design codes .The basic theory of strut‐and tie‐model and its application to bridge pier cap systems were introduced in this study .The stress and strain of cap beam was evaluated by using ABAQUS .Design results of the strut‐and‐tie model were compared with those of the sectional model (i .e .,conventional beam theory ) .It was concluded that the strut‐and‐tie model requires significantly less amount of reinforcing steel in deep members such as pier caps .
