Rare earth market analysis in August 2016

Nearly all listed rare earth companies have released their semi-annual report by the end of August, 2016. The weak market imposes heavy strain on these rare earth enterprises. In the international market, Honda Motors, working with Daido Steel, has made a major breakthrough in hybrid technology in developing the first magnet suitable for use in automotive drive applications that does not make use of heavy rare earth elements.
