Sinopec,also known as China Petroleum&Chemical Corporation,is a giant vertically integrated energy company.Slightly different from its domestic peer PetroChina,Sinopec is more focus on its downstream operations,which the company gets most of its revenue from.Despite the fact that Sinopec pumps more than a million barrels of oil equivalents per day,its strength lies in its vast oil refining,petrochemical manufacturing,and oil marketing and distribution businesses.According to the company's annual report for the year of 2017,Sinopec is China's largest oil products and chemical supplier with domestic sales of 142 billion barrels of gasoline,kerosene and diesel.
