Great Promise for Coal-derived Gas Exploration in China

@@ With the introduction,development and application of coal-derived gas geological theory,China's coal-derived gas exploration has witnessed a rapid development,and the theory gave an enormous impetus to robust growth of natural gas reserves and rapid development of natural gas industry in China.Before the 1990s,proven coal-derived gas reserves in China were less than 100 billion cubic meters and it accounted for no more than 10% of the total proven gas reserves.But after the 1990s,exploration for coal-derived gas developed fast in three large gas areas such as Changqing,Tarim,and Sichuan.
