PetroChina-Apache Cooperative Block Put into Production

@@ On August 5, 2003, PetroChina and US-based Apache jointly announced in Beijing that Zhaodong Cooperative Block, located in the beach area of Dagang, has been put into production,pumping 6000 barrels of crude oil per day. The daily crude production is estimated to reach the peak at 22,000barrels in the first quarter of next year.The crude from Zhaodong Block is transported by oil tankers to the terminal at Tanggu, about 60 kilometers north of the cooperative block.
