Shell Cooperate with Chinese Partners for CTL Technology

@@ Shell (China) Ltd., Shenhua Group Corporation Ltd and Ningxia Coal Industry Co. Ltd. (Ningmei) signed a memorandum of understanding in Beijing on 15 November,2004, to work together to develop clean liquid fuel from coal in China. The three companies will be looking at the possible application of Shell's Coal-to-Liquids (CTL)technologies in China during a nine-month Pre-Feasibility Study that will analyze the market, evaluate the economics,review technical solutions and regulations, and identify possible sites for projects.
