Geopolymers are a new class of materials synthesized by alkaline solution activation of aluminosilicate at ambient or higher temperature. It has advantages of low power consumption, environmental protection, high mechanical strength and high fire resistance,etc. Geopolymers are highly significant commercial products and widely used in some areas, such as building materials, high strength materials, high temperature resistant materials and safe disposal of nuclear wastes.
