Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of Yanhuning and ribavirin in the treatment of children with acute respiratory infection. Methods 203 children with acute respiratory infection admitted to our hospital from January 2012 to January 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the study group (102 patients) and the control group (101 patients).The study group were given with Yanhuning treatment on the basis of conventional symptomatic support-ive treatment,the control group were given with ribavirin treatment on the basis of conventional symptomatic supportive treatment.The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs and the treatment effects of the two groups were ana-lyzed comparatively,and the adverse reactions during the treatment period were observed. Results The disappearance time of various symptoms and signs of the study group was shorter than that of the control group,with significant differ-ence between the two groups (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 94.12% and that of the control group was 76.23%,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,with significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).No severe adverse reactions occurred in the two groups and the adverse re-actions of the study group were less and slighter than those of the control group. Conclusion Yanhuning injection can effectively treat the children with acute respiratory infection,has the advantages of remarkably shorter treatment time and less adverse reactions,and is safe and reliable,thereby of important clinical value and worthy of clinical promotion and application.%目的：对比分析炎琥宁与利巴韦林治疗小儿急性上呼吸道感染的临床效果。方法选取2012年1月~2014年1月本院收治的203例小儿急性上呼吸道感染患儿，随机分为研究组(102例)和对照组(101例)。研究组在常规对症支持治疗的基础上给予炎琥宁治疗，对照组在常规对症支持治疗的基础上给予利巴韦林治疗。分析比较两组患儿临床症状体征消失时间及治疗效果，并观察治疗期间的不良反应。结果研究组的症状体征消失时间明显短于对照组，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)；研究组的治疗总有效率为94.12%，对照组的治疗总有效率为76.23%，差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)；两组患儿均未出现严重不良反应，研究组不良反应较对照组少且轻微。结论炎琥宁注射液能有效治疗小儿急性上呼吸道感染，并且具有治疗时间短、不良反应少的特点，安全可靠，具有重要的临床价值，值得推广应用。
