Medical equipment are tools to implement medical technology. The quality and safety of medical equipment have become the focus of attention for different levels of medical administration departments. The preventive maintenance is crucial for ensuring quality and safety of medical equipment. According to our survey and references, the preventive maintenance of medical equipment is in its initial stage. There exists an imbalance of development among different areas in our country.
