Objective To explore the application effect of combined traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treat-ment of chronic atrophic gastritis. Methods 106 cases of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis treated in the hospital from January 2014 to June 2015 were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 53 cases in each. The control group were treated with conventional western medicine symptomatic treatment, the total effective rate of clinical treatment in the two groups was compared. Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 98.1% and 79.2%in the control group, the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion In the clinical treatment of chronic atrophic gastri-tis, Chinese and western medicine symptomatic relief treatment at the same time can significantly improve the patient's clin-ical therapeutic effect.%目的：探究在慢性萎缩性胃炎的临床治疗中中西医结合治疗的应用效果。方法整群选取2014年1月—2015年6月在该院消化科治疗的慢性萎缩性胃炎患者106例，按照随机分组原则将胃炎患者分为对照组和治疗组分别53例，对照组患者采取常规的西药对症缓解治疗，对比两组患者的临床治疗总有效率。结果治疗组慢性萎缩性胃炎患者的临床治疗总有效率为98.1%，对照组慢性萎缩性胃炎患者治疗总有效率为79.2%，治疗组临床治疗总有效率明显高于对照组，差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论在慢性萎缩性胃炎的临床治疗中西药对症缓解治疗的同时进行中药治疗能够显著改善患者的临床治疗效果.
