One of the important reasons of tumor death is the metastasizing and spreading of tumor from primary tumor to adjacent tissue. During research of relationship between gastric cancer, liver cancer, bladder cancer, esophageal cancer, breast cancer, other tumor metastasis and MTA1 gene, it is found that among all the samples studied, the incidence rate of tumor tissue expression of MTA1 metastasis was significantly higher than that of non-metastatic tumor tissue, which means that MTA1 gene is closely related with tumor invasion and metastasis, and its over-expression was positively correlated with depth of tumor invasion and metastasis. Research of correlation of tumor metastasis is a major issue in today's health care field, so this study reviews the research progress associated with MTA1 genes in recent years.%肿瘤从原发灶向周围邻近组织转移扩散是肿瘤致死的重要原因之一。研究胃癌、肝癌、膀胱癌、食管癌、乳腺癌等肿瘤的转移与MTA1基因的关系时发现，所有研究标本中，发生转移的肿瘤组织中MTA1基因的表达率明显高于无转移肿瘤组织。说明MTA1基因和肿瘤的侵袭与转移密切相关，且它的过表达水平与肿瘤侵袭深度与转移程度呈正相关。对肿瘤转移相关性的研究是当今医疗卫生领域的重大课题，该文对近年来发现的相关基因MTA1的研究进展进行综述。
