THE HEI PHOTOELECTRON SPECTROSCOPIC STUDY OF MICROWAVE-DISCHARGED SPECIES OF METHYL IODIDE

摘要

The detection of the microwave-discharged species of methyliodide by HeI photoelectron spectroscopy（UPS）is reported for the firsttime.The UPS spectra of I₂ and HI molecules clearly appeared in thespectrum of microwave-discharged species of methyl iodide,The mechanismof the change of methyl iodide under microwave discharge wasproposed,The result provides the basis for understanding depletion ofthe ozone shell of the atomsphere by halogenated methane.
