畜牧工作实质上是如何把对人来说是低等的太阳能转化为高等的非太阳能产品，是一项对人类生命活动极其重要人类生产活动，也是一种人与自然和谐相处最佳体现。但是畜牧生产活动过程的简单化和利益化，使太阳能的流向和转化发生了扭曲和变形，从而祸及池鱼，连累到畜牧人的光辉形象和丰功伟绩。最重要的是畜牧人的心血和汗水，因人们对格格不入的粪味，将化为乌有或所剩无几了。简单点讲就是事业是高尚的，使命是伟大的，成绩是肯定的，而过程是粗糙的，细节是搁置的，生态是污染的。%The essential part of animal husbandry work is translating the low solar products into the higher one.
