After the first case of respiratory illness caused by a novel coronavirus was detected in Wuhan,capital of central China’s Hubei Province,at the end of 2019,the virus has spread across China and beyond its borders to a number of other countries including ASEAN member states such as Thailand,Singapore,Malaysia and the Philippines.The battle against the virus epidemic is a silent war that has grabbed global attention.President of Malaysia-China Friendship Association Dato’Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan is monitoring the epidemic prevention and control situation closely.
